XaLib the XulApp Utility Library

This library is inspired by the JSLib project. XaLib is a redesign of an old version of JSLib so that it works with the new XulApp Platform. The current version contains the following features:

• The library is being designed to be localizable.
• Standard functions for accessing XPCOM components and services.
• Robust error handling.
• File and Directory handling extended to handle chrome url's. and well known directories. The library is designed to work transparently with regular or Zip files. This enables a project to continue working when it is placed in a jar file.
• File Open.Save dialogs.
• RDF Query Engine based on the SPARQL language.
• RDFTemplate. This is designed to work in conjunction with the SPARQL query engine, but can be used to create RDF from any Javascript object. The template can create bag, seq and alt containers and handle repeated content.
